Our client, located in the Heart of Downtown Vancouver, is currently seeking a talented Accounts Payable Clerk for their fantastic accounting team! The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of accounts payable experience, preferably in either a law or corporate setting. Preference to candidates with experience in law will be given.

 

The successful candidate will be responsible for accounts receivable duties (general deposits), accounts payable (general cheques),  general debit and credit memos, accounts receivable write-offs, mid-month reporting, month and year-end responsibilities, and process credit card payments.

 

The incumbent will have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounts payable, preferably in either law or corporate, a bachelor’s degree in business administration or the equivalent, excellent written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of accounting software (knowledge of Elite Software considered major asset) and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
