Job Description:

We are looking for a result driven Manager of Operational Reporting to join a highly professional, high growth environment within the manufacturing industry for my client located in Delta.

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Manager of Operational Reporting will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accurate and timely reporting relating to sales, warranty expenses, inventory, cost-of sales and other operational metrics. The Manager of Operational Reporting will provide leadership and develop and mentor junior staff, work closely with the financial reporting team on month, quarter and year end basis, assisting with preparation of working papers related to inventory and work closely with the Director of Finance to establish appropriate internal controls in alignment with the standards set by their parent company. Other duties include but are not limited to: assisting in the annual corporate budget, overseeing the financial reporting of key dealer programs and other marketing incentive programs, develop a solid understanding of the company’s products and processes all while leading and maintaining a positive environment focusing on Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.

The ideal Manager of Operational Reporting will have a minimum of 3-4 years of accounting experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment and a good understanding of IFRS & Foreign Currency. Experience with consolidated reporting and public company and manufacturing experience are strongly preferred. You will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills, have a high degree of judgement and problem-solving skills and you enjoy working and collaborating within a high standard environment. In addition, the Manager of Operational Reporting will hold a professional accounting designation, CPA, CA, CMA, have attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy. You will be organized, have exceptional communication skills, with Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills with Epicor 9+ is considered an asset.
