The Global Supply Planning Analyst is responsible for analyzing and promoting supply chain initiatives to improve supply to demand, while taking into consideration the company’s commitment to our Core Values in the planning and implementation of all actions related to the area of responsibility. You will work with various members of the team  (Demand Planning , Inventory Management, Production Planning, Site Scheduling, Procurement and Sourcing, and Product Management) to define, measure, analyze, improve and control Sales and Operations Planning and  Supply Planning.  

What you will be doing:

  • Implementing a high-level supply plan that will link the inventory plan driven by sales forecast and safety stock to the current manufacturing and planning systems
  • Analyzing and developing a supply plan by product family
  • Building up Business Intelligence to analyze production process and make improvement proposal to maximize efficiency  to the supply plan
  • Working with Quality to analyze quality processes and making improvement proposals to maximize efficiency  to the supply plan
  • Working with Procurement to analyze supplier performance and making improvement proposals to  maximize efficiency  to the supply plan
  • Driving stability in an MRP system to ensure appropriate and sustainable inventory levels
  • Providing direction and feedback to production planners, site schedulers on aggregative planning level
  • Providing valuable assistance to operational managers to ensure cost effective allocation of shop floor labor
  • Facilitating regular feedback to Sales and Operations Planning and Supply Planning
  • Responding to major customer changes or forecast change requests in a timely manner and coordinate changes through the company’s supply-chain to an achievable plan  
  • Analyze the oversold and undersold products on a monthly basis and adjust future plan accordingly  
  • Identifying and implementing system and process improvements within the supply chain to enable overall business process improvement

Who you are:

  • You  have experience in SQL Server with either Microsoft developer tool (Visual Studio, Azure or SQL Studio)  
  • You possess strong knowledge and understanding of production planning, purchasing, capacity planning, and machine scheduling
  • APICS or IBF or equivalent Operating Management Certification considered an asset
  • You are a self-starter and detail-oriented, in a team oriented environment with frequent changes in deadlines and priorities that require a sense of urgency
  • You have the ability to think globally and strategically with a perspective of the business beyond SKU level, with leadership to take on responsibility
  • This role requires direct and timely communication to appropriate stakeholders; requires the initiative and diligence to persistently manage issues through to resolution, utilizing collaborative relationships with operational partners in a positive manner
  • This role requires a pragmatic approach to decision making, using qualitative analysis to evaluate risk/reward scenarios and make appropriate decisions that are aligned with corporate strategic goals
