Job Description:

Our Client, a well-respected player in the grocery industry, is presently seeking a TERRITORY MANAGER, to join their Edmonton sales team.   This position will be responsible for managing all aspects of the sales function including merchandising, promotion and distribution focused at retail.


Specific duties include;

  • Meet and exceed margin and sales target goals
  • Develop and grow sales through new business development, new listings and executing promotional activity
  • Prepare and present regular business updates to customers
  • Initiate and evaluate opportunities throughout the geographical market area
  • Maintain a high level of competitor knowledge
  • Develop and implement a territory plan for sales calls, and capitalize on effective merchandising and display opportunities in all accounts during these calls
  • Complete plans and reports to measure gain/loss in accounts, new business and activities in acquiring new or incremental business
  • Actively manage the profitability and gross margin of sales territory and develop the necessary plans and actions to meet targets across the customer base



  • Completed post-secondary education
  • Someone who is looking to develop/grow their career
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of sales in either CPG or food related industry
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Be a self-starter
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize and be part of a high performing team
  • Top-notch communication and relationship building skills
  • Strong organization and analytical skills
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
