Territory Manager – Downtown Craft Beer


Our client is looking for a Full-Time Craft Beer Territory Manager to cover the downtown core and Vancouver proper. This territory has been in a high growth mode for the last several months with numerous loyal customers and an appreciation for the product line and brand ethos. Your consistent call coverage of the retail and on-premise accounts in this territory will ensure you continue to grow the portfolio to bigger and better things.


You will be a self-motivated and hardworking individual who loves selling craft beer.    You must have between 3-5 years of direct sales experience, preferably in the Food & Beverage Industry. You should have an understanding of the Craft Beer Industry, have a passion for beer and be happy selling into liquor stores and draft accounts. You will also attend Festivals & Events to tell the story of the brewery and the products. This position will require work from a Home Office, your vehicle and your customers’ accounts.


Some of what you will do in this role includes:


  • Grow sales and listings, as well as taps in the OP channel
  • Manage retail accounts in your coverage area
  • Act as a brand ambassador to your customers and consumers
  • Ensure sales performance and spend integrity
  • Create and implement creative activations in the market


You Should Have Most of These in your Background:


  • An experienced Sales Representative (3-5 years) - preferably with experience in the fast-growing craft beer sector, or within the food and beverage industry
  • Post-secondary Education
  • Experience with both retail and OP customers
  • Valid Driver’s License and clear abstract
  • Execution of marketing strategies – tastings, festivals and events.
  • Build & maintain in-store displays.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the Lower Mainland to call on accounts & attend events.
  • Strong computer skills required, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Legally able to work in Canada
