Job Description Details:

R3D International is seeking an experienced and successful Sales Executive to lead the business development and growth of our new Apriso MES practice in the GTA or Southern Ontario.  As an experienced Consulting / Professional Services Sales Rep you will be instrumental in helping our presence in this market space. You should have at least 10 years of experience, and demonstrated success, in achieving and/or over-achieving goals in generating software, consulting services and support sales with new prospects in the Manufacturing sector. You are also a consummate networker and able to develop strong business relationships with customers so that they turn to R3D for their project’s needs.   Additionally you have the professional strength and desire to source and generate leads, the knowledge base and attention to detail to submit compelling proposals and presentations to the client and the innate ability to close business successfully.


To be successful in this role you must demonstrate skill and expertise in the following:

  • Territory Management & account planning;
  • Ability to segment a market/territory;
  • Ability to define sales & demand generation strategies in each of the target market segments;
  • Ability to prospect to generate leads in each of the market segments;
  • In-depth knowledge of driving the entire sales cycle with Manufacturing enterprise in Industrial Components,  Aerospace, Automotive etc.;
  • Ability to qualify a prospect and opportunity;
  • Ability orchestrate discovery meetings and link solutions to customer pain points (Consultative Selling / Value Selling);
  • Ability to structure and write a winning presentation and proposal;
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in   English  (French, Spanish or German skills would be a plus);
  • Ability to drive relationships with procurement/vendor management to negotiate terms pricing;
  • Ability to forecast accurate numbers;
  • Strong experience in negotiating contract terms & conditions; and  
  • Practical knowledge of positioning and selling Projects versus Staff Augmentation deals


Your background should include:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a direct field sales role calling on IT leaders, able to position value base selling to IT and Engineering executives
  • Experience in presenting software solution for MES and Shop floor solutions, ideally with experience selling DELMIA Apriso or any of the major MES software product/solution (Siemens, Rockwell, Allen-Bradley etc.); and
  • Demonstrated experience selling complex, multi-pillar solutions
  • You can expect 75%+ travel as needed to successfully manage a large geographic territory and you will be working mainly remote or at client sites. Therefore can live anywhere in the GTA or Southern Ontario, with ready access to a major airport.
