R3D Consulting is a leading provider of Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM), DELMIA and SAP solutions to supply chain management and manufacturing organizations across North America and Europe. We are seeking to hire graduating students with a background in Supply Chain Management to help grow our ORTEMS practice in North America. After ORTEMS training you will begin on-the-job development supporting our client’s ORTEMS implementation and migration projects. A good ORTEMS Application Solution Consultant will acquire excellent knowledge of different modules of ORTEMS and become familiar with the strengths and weaknesses of the product. You will need to have an analytical mindset along with good understanding and skill in SQL and a keen eye for detail. Your goal will be to help customers adopt and integrate their data into the ORTEMS application to solve their business problems for scheduling and planning. You will work as part of a team and individually with little supervision.

 

In this role you will have the following job responsibilities:

  • Ensure the successful completion of a customer project to guarantee customer satisfaction;
  • Coordinate all associated activities & configuring the existing customer data in ORTEMS to have better planning and scheduling of the manufacturing process;
  • Identify the customer data and map it to the ORTEMS application;
  • Provide support during presales as such as assessing project needs, planning, and staffing and risk management;
  • Communicate new business opportunities identified during project execution;
  • Capitalize on project deliverables to ensure reusability; and
  • Produce the lessons learnt during the project closure phase.

To be considered for this role you should have the following background and experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or Bachelor’s degree with Supply Chain Management as a major;
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Planning, Levelling and Scheduling;
  • Programming experience and solution designing would be a major asset;
  • Able to follow Application Best Practices and R3D’s best practices;
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written and the ability to work successfully with various client groups;
  • Good knowledge of 3DS Services Methods from Dassault Systemes/DELMIA;
  • Experience with MES and MOM functional knowledge from the manufacturing domain would be an asset; and
  • SAP/ERP system knowledge would be an asset
