Brief Description:

Resonance is seeking Private Sector Engagement Team Leader candidates for the anticipated USAID Private Sector Engagement (PSE) Support Mechanism. Under the supervision of the COP, this position leads the private sector engagement efforts of the activity. Provides assistance to strengthen USAID’s private sector engagement, and stimulates foreign and local investment. Works closely with activity staff, government, civil society, private sector counterparts, and beneficiaries to successfully implement activities and achieve desired results. This will be a full-time position based in Washington, DC, reporting to the Chief of Party.  

 

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Economic Growth, Education and Environment (E3), Office of Private Capital and Microenterprise (PCM) is set to issue a Solicitation for the Training, Reporting, Technical Assistance and Communications Support (TRACS) Activity. The anticipated TRACS task order will support the PCM office to meet private sector engagement needs through training and facilitation, reporting and analysis, short-term and long-term staffing and communication support. The task order objective is to provide services and support for PCM’s mandate to develop and mainstream a new approach to planning and programming that focuses USAID’s resources on catalyzing private capital towards investments that contribute to development.


Qualifications:

• Degree in international development, business, finance, economics, or a related field of study or equivalent work experience;
• Ten (10) years or more of progressively responsible international work experience implementing multi-sector development programs with demonstrated strong management and coordinating skills utilized for private sector engagement, market-led development, and development finance;
• Five (5) years of management experience, including direct supervision of professional and support staff;
• Previous experience providing technical advisory services to USAID preferred.
