Human Capital Training & Learning Team Leader, USAID Private Sector Engagement Support Mechanism

Brief Description:

Under the supervision of the COP, this position leads the training and learning efforts of the activity. Provides assistance to train USAID in private sector engagement and financing self-reliance principals. Ensures learning across modalities. Works closely with activity staff, government, civil society, private sector counterparts, and beneficiaries to successfully implement activities and achieve desired results.

The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), Bureau for Economic Growth, Education and Environment (E3), Office of Private Capital and Microenterprise (PCM) is set to issue a Solicitation for the Training, Reporting, Technical Assistance and Communications Support (TRACS) Activity. The anticipated TRACS task order will support the PCM office to meet private sector engagement needs through training and facilitation, reporting and analysis, short-term and long-term staffing and communication support. The task order objective is to provide services and support for PCM’s mandate to develop and mainstream a new approach to planning and programming that focuses USAID’s resources on catalyzing private capital towards investments that contribute to development.


Qualifications:

• Degree in international development, business, human resources management, or a related field of study or equivalent work experience;
• Ten (10) years or more of progressively responsible international work experience implementing multi-sector development programs with demonstrated strong management and coordinating skills utilized in creating training plans and learning for development professionals, particularly in market-led, and finance applied across diverse sectors;
• Five (5) years of management experience, including direct supervision of professional and support staff and assembling teams working on multi-faceted international development programs
